Study visit in Turin, Italy

The conference was attended by representatives of the region’s authorities, labour market and educational organisations, schools, employers and trade unions. The Labour Market and Education Observatory of Małopolska was represented by Olga Dębowska, Ewa Guzik and Marcin Węgrzyn.
The conference was introducing the survey of the region’s entrepreneurs and their demand for skilled personnel in selected sectors. The survey was conducted under an agreement between the Piedmont Region and its constituent counties (provincie) determining responsibilities within the survey and the involvement of community partners. Our team learned about the results of the survey, but even more importantly about the operation of the network of institutions during the course of the project.
The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss a cooperation agreement between the Regional Labour Office in Kraków, Education, Training and Labour Department for Piedmont Region and Economic and Development Centre for Southwest Finland. The cooperation will continue next year.
