-
In autumn 2012, the Labour Market and Education Observatory of Małopolska will host two international conferences devoted to labour market surveys. In previous years, such meetings were held in Rome, Dublin, Copenhagen, Marseilles, and Luxembourg.

- EUROPEAN DAY is a meeting of Networking Regional Labour Market Observatories. The network is a platform for cooperation between observatories from EU Member States, which allows the exchange of information concerning the research methods applied. The main theme of the European Day organised in Kraków on 11th October 2012 will be Measuring Geographical Mobility in Regional Labour Market Monitoring.
- THE ANNUAL MEETING will bring together the members of the European Network on Regional Labour Market Monitoring. Its members represent institutions that research the labour market in EU states, and include higher education institutions, research institutes, and public administration. In 2012, the central theme of the proceedings will be skills monitoring in the framework of vocational education and training reform. The conference will be held on 12th October 2012.
The events are organised in cooperation with the Institute for Economics, Labour and Culture, a Centre of the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. The institute is the initiator and coordinator of the activity of the Networking Regional Labour Market Observatories and the European Network on Regional Labour Market Monitoring.
